York Festival of Ideas – New Writers’ Day
I’m delighted to be taking part in the York Festival of Ideas in June as part of their New Writers’ Day: Saturday 15th June in the afternoon.
I’ll be reading from The Night Rainbow and answering all your questions. There will also be an opportunity for book signings.
I’m on at 2:45pm but there’s an exciting line up of wonderful authors all day, so do come along earlier and hear from other writers like Elizabeth Day, Kate Worsley and D.W. Wilson, and stay after my slot to hear from Granta’s great young British novelists 2013.
Here is the direct link for you to book your (FREE) tickets: http://yfoinewwriters3.eventbrite.co.uk
Here is an interview with me in the Yorkshire post, where I discuss being from Yorkshire and living in France: Yorkshire Post Culture 31st May 2013
York Festival of Ideas is a free festival and there are lots of other interesting events throughout the week. This year’s theme is ‘North and South’, do have a look at their website for more information on the programme of events.
